To understand what the author considers common myths of women, read:

I read an awesome book recently. I want to recommend it to my church family.

THE SHACK by Wm. Paul Young is a work of fiction, but the author puts into words what it must be like to meet God face to face.

He also puts into words many of the unspoken and unanswered questions many of us have, as well as challenging the importance we place on personal appearance rather than inner qualities.

You will find a copy in the church library. If that is checked out, I'll loan out my copy. I hope you find it as intriguing as I did.  Enjoy!

Understanding the Muslim religion:

"Jeremiah: I wouldn't be tempted if temptation wasn't so tempting" by Ron Wheeler.  The author gives youth laughs while arming them against temptation. (178.9 Wh)

"The Seeing Summer" by Jeannette Eyerly.  After her initial shock, Carey adjusts to having a blind playmate and takes it upon herself to locate her friend when she is kidnapped. (Fic Eye)

The library now has all three titles of a series by Beverly Lewis. “Annie’s People” is about Annie, who is challenged by her artistic learning because it’s too fancy.
