My name is Virginia Croskery (Virginia McCurry). I am pleased to serve on the staff as Choir Director and Bell Choir Director. In addition, I am a member of the Voice Faculty at Simpson College. I have Bachelors and Masters degrees from Northwestern University and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Iowa Virginia is well known as a soprano soloist and has appeared with numerous orchestras, opera companies, an chamber groups, both in this country and abroad. She joined the Second and Third National Tours of Andrew Loyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera and later joined the Broadway company
Virginia's real passion is for teaching and from her rich background in music, she wants to incorporate instruments, the bell choir, and children's choir into the music for our Worship Services.
I invite high school youth to join our chancel choir and to share their other musical talents. I would like to invite anyone who would like to sing with our chancel choir or play in our handbell choir to come and join us. As the daughter of a pastor, I believe that music is an integral part of our staff and church family!
