Transportation

Union Park United Methodist Church has a bus/van that is being used to transport youth and adults to church events or church services. Our bus/van is a Ford (Eldorado Conversion). It sits 16 passengers plus two wheelchair positions with a rear wheelchair lift.  We would be glad to include you in our mobile ministry. If you live in the Des Moines area and need a ride to our church to attend our services, please call the church office at 515 262-2875.

The bus ministry will include, primarily transportation of youth and adult members or visitors from the Des Moines area to our church services, Sunday school, and Vacation Bible School.  Secondary uses may be to enrich the quality of life for our members by providing accessibility to various other events such as: Music Under the Stars, Water Works Jolly Holiday Lights at Christmas, the Tulip Festival in Pella, United Methodist Men at Purdue, Youth trips, House on the Rock, Historic tours, Perry attractions, Amish life at Kolona and many other possible attractions or events.  A fee may be required for the various functions or events to defray the cost of the trip.
