Our Worship Services enable us to feel the presence of God, and through the help of the Holy Spirit provide renewal of energy for our mind, body and spirit. Sermons introduce and re-introduce the congregation to Jesus Christ as the Center of Life, offer biblical principles for daily living, and inspire and encourage us to be faithful as we deal with the stress and challenge associated with daily life.

Outreach & Witnessing
We participate in projects and programs which help the conditions of the poor and oppressed, and victims of natural calamities.
We support the Food Pantry projects of the Des Moines Area Religious Council, and provide Christmas gifts to the children of prisoners through Angel Tree.
We raise money for missions here and abroad.
Members participate in Volunteer in Mission programs locally, nationally and around the world.
We reach out to others for Christ through Bible study, personal visitation, invitation to worship services, distribution of the "Upper Room" daily devotional guide, and spreading the gospel message through our "Jesus" video tape ministry.
We also hold a Spiritual Retreat which provides the opportunity to examine our lives and renew our faith and commitment to God.
"...love your neighbor as yourself." Mark 12:31

Our Beliefs
We hold in common with all Christians a faith in the mystery of salvation in and through Jesus Christ.
We believe that God's redemptive love is realized in human life by the activity of the Holy Spirit, both in personal experience and in the community of believers.
We understand ourselves to be part of Christ's universal Church when by adoration, proclamation, and service we become conformed to Christ.
We recognize that the reign of God is both a present and future reality.
We share Christian communion.
We declare the essential oneness of the Church in Christ Jesus.
WE ARE:
a covenant people,
a diverse community,
biblical in faith,
mission oriented,
socially conscious,
ecumenical,
involved,
connectional, and
evangelical.
The heart of United Methodism is winning people to Christ.
