We are pleased to introduce and welcome our new Director of Youth Ministry, Gwi Jeong “Chung” Jung to our staff. Along with serving on our staff, she is the wife of Rev. Junsoo Jung, pastor of the Korean UMC. They have four children. “Chung ”graduated from Sejong University in Seoul, Korea with a major in Education and attended Methodist Theological Seminary in Seoul, Korea.Gwi Jeong comes to us with a background in teaching Sunday School, directing Children's Ministry adn Choir directing. She has a dream of helping children learn how they can relate to others in the community in ways other than through gangs, bullying, etc. She speaks passionately about worship, Bible study, and showing love to all people.
She hopes to reach out to the Union Park neighborhood with love and understanding. Youth of all ages need to know Jesus and serve him faithfully. Gwi Jeong participated in our VBS program. Seeing children adn families from three churches come together to lerarn, sing, and eat was very impressive and she hopes in the future to include other children from other churches in the neighborhood.
